Dillon Scott Norton

Dillon grew up on construction sites in Michigan, surrounded by a family deeply rooted in carpentry and home building. From an early age, he developed a hands-on understanding of craftsmanship, construction, and the discipline required to bring complex projects to life.

He began his professional career in Boston and Silicon Valley, working with startup companies on capital raising and business development initiatives. In 2018, Dillon shifted his focus to residential construction, combining his entrepreneurial background with a lifelong connection to building.

After relocating to Raleigh in 2019, Dillon went on to manage more than 30 multimillion-dollar luxury residential projects for prominent local builders. His experience spans high-end custom homes, renovations, project management, budgeting, vendor coordination, and client relations.

In 2025, Dillon founded Scott Norton Homes to create a more focused and client-centered building experience rooted in craftsmanship, transparency, and modern design.

My philosophy is rooted in a deep commitment to doing meaningful and lasting work. I believe exceptional projects begin with clear vision and decisive execution — limiting the number of projects I take on at one time so each receives the attention, focus, and level of involvement it deserves.

I am committed to doing things the right way, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, honest construction practices, and long-term value over shortcuts or trends. At the same time, I believe great builders must remain students of design, construction, and technology — continually learning, adapting, and understanding new ideas as they emerge within the market. By balancing timeless building principles with forward-thinking design, I strive to create work that feels both current and lasting.

Whether it is the overall architectural vision or the smallest finish detail, the same level of intention and meticulousness should exist at every scale of a project. The smallest details shape the larger experience, and when every element is approached with care, the final result feels cohesive, timeless, and deeply considered.
